W latach 1982–1986 studiował na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Gdańskiej, a następnie na Wydziale Malarstwa Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Sztuk Plastycznych w Gdańsku, gdzie w 1991 roku otrzymał dyplom w pracowni prof. Hugona Laseckiego. Mieszka i pracuje w Warszawie.
